Metallic Printed Ribbon with Gold, Silver & Specialist Foils

Our metallic printed ribbon uses specialist foil printing to give your logo, wording or design a reflective finish rather than a standard flat print colour.

Metallic Print Colours & Finishes

Metallic foil catches and reflects the light, giving logos, lettering and motifs a distinctive finish that cannot be achieved with a standard print colour.

Popular options include gold, silver and copper, together with coloured metallic finishes such as sapphire blue, ruby red and emerald green. We also offer holographic and glitter foils for designs that need a more unusual or decorative effect.

The best combination depends on both the ribbon colour and the effect you want to create. Our designers can help you choose a suitable ribbon and foil combination if you are unsure.

Choose from Seven Satin Ribbon Widths

Our metallic foil printing is available across a wide choice of satin ribbon widths, allowing you to use the same style of metallic branding for anything from small product packaging to large presentations and events.

• 7mm – delicate packaging, small boxes, favours and narrow branding
• 10mm – jewellery boxes, premium packaging and narrow product presentation
• 15mm – versatile everyday branded ribbon
• 25mm – gift boxes, retail packaging and corporate presentation
• 38mm – hampers, larger gifts and statement packaging
• 48mm – large hampers, displays and wider applications
• 100mm – large-format branding, displays and event presentation

25 Metre Rolls for Specialist Metallic Foil Printing

Metallic foil is a specialist print material and this product is supplied from a minimum of one 25 metre roll.

This makes it particularly suitable for businesses, retailers, event organisers and customers who need a consistent metallic finish across branded packaging, gifting or promotional materials.

Larger quantities are also available for ongoing packaging, multiple events or larger campaigns.

Same-Day Metallic Ribbon Printing Available

Because we print this ribbon in-house, same-day production can be available when required, subject to ribbon and foil stock, artwork approval and production capacity.

If you have a tight deadline, send us your logo or wording as early as possible so our designers can prepare your free digital proof for approval before printing.

Metallic Printed Ribbon for Brands, Packaging & Events

Metallic print works especially well where you want branding to catch the light or create a strong contrast against the ribbon colour.

Popular uses include retail packaging, jewellery boxes, beauty products, candle packaging, confectionery, corporate gifting, hampers, product launches, promotional events, weddings and special occasions.

With so many ribbon and foil combinations available, the same printing process can create anything from understated corporate branding to highly decorative event ribbon.

For more ideas on using printed ribbon across gift boxes, hampers, corporate gifting and retail presentation, see our branded packaging ribbon guide.

Free Artwork & Proof Before Printing

Send us your logo, wording or design requirements and our team will prepare the artwork for you. A digital proof is supplied for approval before production, so you can check the layout, repeat and overall appearance before your ribbon is printed.

We have been printing personalised ribbon since 2007, giving us extensive experience in matching ribbon widths, colours and print finishes to different packaging, branding and event applications.

Need a Standard Print Colour Instead?

If you do not require a reflective metallic, holographic or glitter finish, our standard personalised ribbon range may be the more economical option.

Our standard single-colour printing is available across the same core satin ribbon range, with lower minimum quantities available on many widths.

Holographic Print on Personalised Ribbon

For something particularly eye-catching, choose our holographic foil print. The foil changes appearance as it catches the light, creating a multicoloured reflective effect across your logo, text or design.

Holographic printing is particularly effective against darker ribbon colours, including black satin, where the changing colours of the foil create a strong contrast.

It is a distinctive option for special events, promotional campaigns, creative packaging, celebrations and branded gifts.
