Is standard single-colour printing right for your artwork?

A close standard ribbon shade is the more economical route only when your logo or text can be printed in one colour. Multi-colour logos, gradients, photographs and detailed full-colour artwork still need full-colour printing.

Can you match a Pantone colour to ribbon?

Yes. Enter your Pantone reference into our colour matching tool to see whether
we have a suitable standard satin ribbon shade. If you need a closer match,
we also offer full-colour ribbon using your supplied colour reference.

Can I enter a HEX colour?

Yes. The matcher accepts HEX colour codes such as
#0F2744.

Can I use RGB or CMYK?

Yes. You can enter RGB or CMYK values from your brand guidelines,
as well as Pantone and HEX references.

Are your standard ribbon colours exact Pantone matches?

No. Our standard satin ribbons are stock-dyed colours. Some shades have useful
Pantone references for comparison, but standard ribbon colours should not be
treated as guaranteed Pantone matches.

What if none of the standard colours are close enough?

Choose the full-colour option and select your required ribbon width.
You can then supply your Pantone, CMYK, HEX or RGB reference with your order,
and we will work towards the closest achievable colour match.

Is standard ribbon cheaper than full-colour ribbon?

It often is, particularly where one of our standard ribbon shades already
works well with your branding. The colour matcher is designed to help you
identify those options before choosing bespoke colour reproduction.

What ribbon widths are available?

Standard ribbon availability varies by colour. The colour matcher shows the
widths currently available for each suggested shade.

Full-colour ribbon is available in a broader range of widths, including
options for packaging, hampers, launches, openings and ceremonial use.

Can you send a ribbon sample?

Yes. Where appropriate, we can supply a small ribbon sample so you can assess
the physical colour before placing a larger order.

Will the ribbon colour look exactly like my screen?

Not necessarily. Screen settings, brightness, photography, lighting and the
sheen of satin ribbon can all affect how a colour appears. If colour is especially
important to your project, a physical sample is the safest way to assess it.
