Our 50mm printed grosgrain ribbon is designed for packaging and presentation where the ribbon needs to make an impact. The generous 50mm width provides excellent space for larger logos, text and branded designs, while the distinctive ribbed texture gives the finished ribbon a substantial, structured appearance.
Unlike an off-the-shelf ribbon with a limited choice of colours, our grosgrain ribbon is colour matched as standard. Supply a Pantone, CMYK, HEX or RGB reference, or tell our designers the colour you are trying to achieve, and we’ll help you create a ribbon that works with your branding.

At 50mm wide, this is the largest ribbon in our standard printed grosgrain range and provides considerably more printable space than narrower widths.
That makes it particularly useful when your logo or branding needs to be clearly visible, or when the ribbon itself is intended to become a major part of the finished presentation.
The distinctive ribbed construction gives grosgrain a firmer, more structured appearance than smooth satin ribbon. At 50mm wide, this texture is especially noticeable and works beautifully on substantial bows and premium packaging.
50mm printed grosgrain is particularly suited to luxury gift boxes, large hampers, premium retail packaging, corporate presentation boxes, product launches, beauty and fashion packaging, promotional displays and statement bows.
If you don’t need quite this much width, our 38mm grosgrain still provides excellent space for prominent branding, while 25mm is a versatile choice for everyday branded packaging.

Your ribbon can be personalised with company logos, names, messages, website details or other artwork. Standard grosgrain printing has a matt finish and can include simple one-colour branding as well as more detailed or full-colour designs.
The wider format can also be particularly useful where a logo would need to be reduced too far to reproduce effectively on a narrow ribbon.

Because colours can appear differently between screens and physical materials, colour references are used to produce the closest suitable match on the finished ribbon.
Grosgrain ribbon has distinctive horizontal ribs and a firmer, more textured appearance. In a wide 50mm format, it creates a substantial ribbon with plenty of structure for larger packaging and statement bows.
Satin ribbon has a smooth surface and softer sheen. It is also the better choice if you specifically require our standard metallic gold or metallic silver printing.

Metallic printed grosgrain can be produced for large bespoke manufacturing runs, but it isn’t part of our standard short-run grosgrain printing service.
Manufacturer-produced metallic grosgrain has a minimum order of 1,000 metres and normally requires a lead time of at least four weeks.
For quantities of 1,000m or more, contact us with your required ribbon width, ribbon colour, print colour and artwork and we can discuss the available options.
Wide bespoke ribbon doesn’t have to mean committing to a huge production run. Our standard 50mm printed grosgrain starts at just 5m.
Quantity breaks are available through to 1,000m, with larger quantities offering substantially better value per metre. This makes 50mm grosgrain suitable for one-off presentation projects, seasonal packaging, product launches and ongoing commercial use.

Our standard short-run grosgrain uses matt printing. Metallic grosgrain can be manufacturer-produced for specialist orders from 1,000m, with a lead time of at least four weeks. For standard metallic printed ribbon in smaller quantities, satin ribbon is the more suitable option.

38mm is an excellent choice when you want prominent branding on larger packaging while retaining a slightly narrower ribbon. Choose 50mm when the ribbon needs to make a stronger visual statement, when your artwork requires more printable space or when you’re creating larger bows and presentation packaging.
