Organic Cotton has been grown where the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides is prohibited. Organic farmers control pests and diseases using natural pesticides and crop rotation. This organic growing process also means less water is used, with organic cotton using approximately 70% less water than conventional cotton. Cotton is a natural fibre and is therefore compostable.
