Is satin ribbon eco-friendly?

Acetate Satin is one of the few Biodegradable ribbons on the market. Acetate Satin ribbons are made from Cellulose, a renewable and sustainable product proven to be biodegradable.

Manufactured using wood pulp from environmentally friendly methods, Acetate Satin ribbon has a slightly stiffer feel than Polyester Satin ribbons but can prove very cost-effective for gift wrapping. Acetate Satin ribbon produces a good bow. Acetate Satin ribbon is not suitable for garments or machine washing. This ribbon is not ideal for printing.
