What are these Eco-Friendly Ribbon Bows made of?

Plastic Bottles are collected & cleaned.  The plastic bottles are shredded into flakes.  The flakes are melted into pellets and then spun into yarn to create the ribbon used to make the Eco-Friendly Ribbon Bow.  This process is in the United Kingdom.  The recycled yarns we use are certified by GRS. The GRS is the Global Recycled Standard. Oeko Tex, the global industry standard for textiles, has certified the product. The manufacture and use of recycled yarns promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact through waste reduction.

Do the ribbon and bow feel soft?

Yes, they do.  The texture is the same as any satin ribbon should.  The ribbon has a beautiful sheen and a soft feel to the touch.

What can I use the Eco-Friendly Ribbon Bows for?

These bows have proved very popular for wrapping gift hampers.  The bows are hand-tied and have ribbon attached to wrap your hamper. Sticky Tabs are applied to the centre of the bow on the reverse to attach to the gift, and an additional tab is on the end of the ribbon to wrap the gift.

What kind of bow is this?

The bow has been expertly crafted in a two-loop, two-tail design, classic for gift wrapping.  The ribbon is 70mm wide, giving you a 24cm wide beautiful bow to compliment your wrapping.  The bow has a 135cm long piece of 50mm ribbon to complete the wrapping with sticking tabes to secure.

These bows are available in vibrant Christmas Red, A Festive Green and Glamourous Gold.

 

What Size Hamper Can The Eco-Friendly Bows Be Used For?

The Eco-Friendly Ribbon Bows are the perfect size for many hampers, from a standard 12-inch hamper to a larger 25-inch hamper.  The ribbon is sufficient for the larger hampers, and if using smaller hampers, you can cut the ribbon to size with a pair of sharp scissors.
