Grosgrain Ribbon – 25mm – 100m

25mm Grosgrain Ribbon – 100 Metre Roll

Our 25mm grosgrain ribbon is a versatile 1-inch wide ribbon with the distinctive woven, ribbed texture of traditional grosgrain. Supplied on a generous 100 metre roll, it is an excellent choice for gift wrapping, product packaging, hampers, bows and retail presentation.

At approximately 1 inch wide, the ribbon has enough presence to become a noticeable part of the finished packaging. It works particularly well around gift boxes and hampers, where the combination of colour and textured grosgrain creates a smart, structured finish.

Recycled Grosgrain Ribbon

This grosgrain ribbon is woven using recycled yarns, making it part of our sustainable ribbon collection and an alternative to grosgrain made entirely from virgin yarn.

The characteristic woven ribs give grosgrain its textured appearance and slightly firmer structure. This makes it particularly effective for packaging and bow making, where the ribbon holds its shape and creates clearly defined loops and tails.

25mm Grosgrain Ribbon for Gift & Product Packaging

25mm is an excellent width for packaging because it is substantial enough to make an impact without being excessively wide. It can be tied around boxes, bags and hampers or used to create bows as part of the finished presentation.

Popular uses include:

• Gift boxes and luxury gift wrapping
• Hampers and gift baskets
• Retail and product packaging
• Corporate gifts
• Presentation boxes
• Medium and larger decorative bows
• Wedding and event decorations
• Craft and handmade products
• Retail displays and seasonal packaging

Why Choose 25mm Ribbon?

At 25mm wide – approximately 2.5cm or 1 inch – this is one of the most useful widths for gift and product packaging.

Compared with narrower 6mm, 10mm and 16mm ribbon, the extra width makes both the colour and ribbed grosgrain texture much more prominent. It is particularly effective on medium and larger gift boxes, presentation boxes and hampers.

Supplied on a 100 metre roll, it is also a practical choice for businesses, retailers, gift companies and makers who regularly use ribbon for packaging.

25mm Grosgrain Ribbon for Bow Making

The structured woven finish of grosgrain makes 25mm ribbon particularly good for creating decorative bows. The ribbon has enough width to produce clearly defined loops while the ribbed texture adds detail to the finished bow.

Use it on gift boxes, hampers, bags and product packaging, or as a decorative bow for events, displays and craft projects.

Grosgrain or Satin Ribbon for Packaging?

Grosgrain ribbon has a visible ribbed texture and a more structured feel than satin ribbon. Satin has a smoother surface and typically provides a softer, shinier finish.

If you want the ribbon to add visible texture and definition to your packaging, grosgrain is an excellent choice. If you prefer a smooth, silky appearance, satin ribbon may be more suitable.

Washable Grosgrain Ribbon

This recycled grosgrain ribbon can be washed at temperatures up to 50°C and can also be ironed, making it suitable for decorative and craft applications where a more practical ribbon is required.

Need a Different Grosgrain Ribbon Width?

Our recycled grosgrain ribbon is also available in 6mm, 10mm, 16mm and 40mm widths, allowing you to choose a narrower or wider ribbon depending on the size of your packaging or project.
