How to Set Up Your Grand Opening Ribbon

Position the ribbon across your entrance or ribbon-cutting area and allow enough length at each side for it to be held or secured comfortably.

For a more formal ceremony, the ribbon can be tied between stanchion poles. Large decorative bows can be placed over the tied sections to conceal the knots and frame the ribbon-cutting photograph.

When it is time for the ceremony, ask your VIP or special guest to cut through the centre of the ribbon using a sharp pair of ceremonial ribbon-cutting scissors.
