Printed onto high-quality satin ribbon using specialist single-colour washable ink, the generous 48mm width is ideal for labels that need to carry more detailed product information.
Your complete design is repeated continuously along the ribbon and Your Order is supplied on a roll, ready for you to cut each individual label to the length required.
At 48mm wide, this is our largest format within the single-colour washable ribbon-label range. The additional printable area gives you considerably more freedom when combining branding with practical garment and product-care information.

The larger print area makes 48mm ribbon particularly useful when you want to create a complete branded clothing and wash-care label in one design.
You can select from a range of clothing care symbols when creating Your Label, allowing your design to combine branding with the appropriate care information for your garment or textile product.
Available options include symbols for washing temperatures, hand washing, ironing temperatures, dry cleaning and do-not-iron instructions.
The care symbols you select should relate to the care requirements of your finished product. They do not indicate the maximum washing temperature of the printed ribbon itself.
These labels use a specialist washable single-colour printing system designed for clothing and textile label applications.
The ribbon and specialist printing system have been manufacturer-tested for washing at temperatures up to 40°C.
Because specialist washable inks are used, the print-colour choice is intentionally more limited than our standard personalised ribbon range. Choose from the 7 washable print colours available on the product page.
The generous 48mm width is particularly useful when your label needs to communicate several pieces of information clearly without squeezing everything into a small print area.

Your complete design is repeated continuously along a roll of 48mm satin ribbon. The labels are not supplied as individual pre-cut pieces.
Simply cut between the repeated designs to produce individual labels at the length you require. This gives you control over the finished dimensions and how each label is folded, positioned or sewn into your product.
The number of individual labels you can produce from each metre will depend on the length of your design and the spacing required between each repeat.
The satin ribbon used for this washable label range is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 approved.
Combined with the specialist washable printing system, this provides a practical solution for businesses and makers requiring professional branded labels for clothing and textile products.
Our minimum order is just 5 metres, so you don’t need to commit to a large quantity of labels to have your own professionally branded clothing and care ribbon printed.
This makes the range suitable for independent makers and smaller businesses as well as established brands requiring larger quantities.
There’s no need to create the finished ribbon layout yourself. Supply your logo, wording, composition information and required care details when placing Your Order and our design team will prepare the layout for you.
We’ll send you a visual proof for approval before Your Ribbon is printed, allowing you to check your branding, wording, care symbols and overall layout before production begins.
