Create a professional entrance for your grand opening, ribbon-cutting ceremony, VIP event or business launch with our heavy-duty red event carpet. At 1 metre wide, it provides plenty of space for guests to walk comfortably while creating the traditional red-carpet appearance for photographs and arriving visitors.
This is a substantial step up from a lightweight party-style red carpet runner. Made from 100% needle-punched polypropylene fibres, the carpet has a smart ribbed surface, precoat backing and a Bfl-s1 fire classification.
The 1 metre width is a practical choice for shop entrances, offices, showrooms, property launches and other ribbon-cutting ceremonies. It creates a clearly defined VIP walkway without requiring the space of our extra-wide 2 metre event carpet.
Use the runner on its own or position it leading towards your grand opening ribbon to create a complete entrance for guests and photographs.
Our red event carpet is designed for short-term installations including grand openings, exhibitions, trade shows, weddings, fashion events, premieres, corporate functions and sporting events.
The precoat backing provides additional weight and flexibility, helping the carpet sit securely over a variety of surfaces. It is particularly useful for temporary event installations over uneven flooring, dark floors and stairs.
Despite its heavy-duty construction, the carpet is relatively light to handle and easy to cut and quick to install. It adheres well to suitable double-sided flooring adhesives and can be laid edge to edge or overlapped where appropriate.
Always make sure temporary event flooring is securely installed and does not create a trip hazard.
The precoat backing makes this carpet suitable for temporary indoor and outdoor event installations. When using the carpet outdoors, take account of the surface and weather conditions and make sure it is appropriately secured.
The carpet carries a Bfl-s1 fire classification, making it suitable for many temporary event environments where flame-retardant flooring is required.
If your venue has specific flooring or fire-safety requirements, always check those requirements before installation.
For a complete ribbon-cutting display, combine your red carpet runner with our Grand Opening ribbon, stanchion poles and large ribbon bows.
You can also add ceremonial ribbon-cutting scissors to complete the opening ceremony.
