Recycled Ribbon Bows for Hampers and Gifts

Give hampers, gift boxes and presentation packaging a beautifully finished look with our recycled ribbon bows. Supplied ready made in packs of 10, each bow is hand-tied in the UK and includes an attached length of ribbon for wrapping around your hamper or gift.

The soft satin ribbon is produced using recycled yarn made from recovered plastic bottles. It has the smooth feel and attractive sheen of traditional satin ribbon, while making use of an existing recycled material.

How is the recycled ribbon made?

 

Used plastic bottles are collected and cleaned before being shredded into small flakes. These flakes are melted into pellets and spun into yarn, which is then used to produce the satin ribbon for our bows.

The recycled yarn used for these bows is certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The ribbon also has OEKO-TEX certification, an internationally recognised textile standard.

Ready-Made Hamper Bows

There is no need to tie the bow yourself. Each recycled hamper bow arrives fully formed with ribbon already attached, making it quick and easy to achieve a consistent finish across several hampers or gift boxes.

A self-adhesive tab is fitted to the reverse of the bow to help hold it in position. A second tab is attached to the end of the ribbon, allowing you to secure it around the hamper or gift.

What Style and Size is the Bow?

Each bow has a traditional two-loop, two-tail design and measures approximately 24cm wide. The bow is made using 70mm wide ribbon, giving it a generous appearance on hampers, gift boxes and presentation packaging.

An attached 135cm length of 50mm wide ribbon wraps around the hamper and completes the presentation.

What Size Hamper Will the Bow Fit?

The attached ribbon is suitable for wrapping hampers measuring approximately 12 to 25 inches wide. For smaller hampers or gift boxes, the ribbon can easily be trimmed to the required length using a sharp pair of scissors.

Are These Bows Biodegradable?

These bows are made from recycled polyester ribbon rather than biodegradable material. Their environmental benefit comes from using yarn created from recovered plastic bottles, helping to give an existing material a new use.

Can the Bows Be Personalised?
